- Wh = V x Ah. To go from mAh, divide by 1000 first.
- Airlines commonly allow up to 100 Wh freely, 100 to 160 Wh with approval, and refuse above that.
- Two packs with the same Ah but different voltage hold very different energy.
Watt hours is the only fair way to compare batteries, because amp hours mean different amounts of energy at different voltages.

A rough planning figure is 15 to 25 Wh per mile on moderate assist, higher with hills, headwind or a heavy load. A 500 Wh pack therefore covers a 20 mile round trip with margin for most riders.
For stored energy, yes. Real range still depends on motor efficiency, total weight, terrain and assist level, so watt hours set the ceiling rather than the result.
